Become a Wise Nose supporter, support the training of scent detection dogs!
Our goal is to continue and develop the training of the current scent detection dogs, as well as train new dogs and participate with them in research, the aim of which is to find out how to find diseases using the dog’s sense of smell (e.g. cancer, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, diabetes). A scent separation study with dogs in society would be a quick and inexpensive way to find e.g. cancer earlier than is possible with existing screening methods. Training dogs for these purposes needs funding.
